Willie Nelson recorded this 2016 tribute to Ray Price, one of his most important influences and lifelong friends. The album features Nelson’s interpretations of twelve songs that Price made famous, including “Heartaches By The Number,” “Faded Love,” “City Lights,” “Make The World Go Away,” and “Night Life.” Producer Fred Foster and arranger Bergen White, both longtime collaborators with Nelson and Price, shaped the project to highlight the range of Price’s songwriting. For the more traditional country numbers, Nelson and Foster brought in The Time Jumpers, a Grammy Award-winning Western swing band featuring guitarist Vince Gill and pedal steel player Paul Franklin, adding depth to Nelson’s personal readings of these classics.

This is a single CD released on Legacy Recordings, containing twelve tracks that run approximately 38 minutes. A used copy from us lets you experience Nelson’s heartfelt salute to a country music legend at a fraction of retail cost.
