Extinction is a 2015 Spanish horror-thriller directed by Miguel Angel Vivas and starring Matthew Fox, Jeffrey Donovan, and Quinn McColgan. After nine years of isolation in the frozen town of Harmony, Patrick, Jack, and his daughter Lu have managed to survive a zombie apocalypse by cutting themselves off from the outside world. When Patrick ventures out to find food, he discovers that the undead have not only returned but have transformed into something far more dangerous and unpredictable than before. The three must confront whether they can endure this evolved threat to humanity’s survival.
