The expedition retraces the historic route of journalist Henry Morton Stanley, who famously searched for the lost Dr. David Livingstone in the African interior. To authentically recreate the experience, these contemporary adventurers rely only on period tools: a compass, maps, and Stanley’s original journals, facing the same harsh terrain and dangers their predecessor encountered.
