Vertical Horizon’s 1999 debut album Everything You Want is an alternative rock record built on earnest vocal harmonies, flowing melodies, and jangly guitar work. Led by school friends Matthew Scannell and Keith Kane, the band explores themes of loss, love, and personal struggle across eleven tracks. Opening with the anthemic “We Are,” the album balances pop sensibilities with rock instrumentation, creating accessible yet emotionally resonant songs like the title track, “You’re A God,” and “Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning).”

This CD was released on Sony Legacy and contains the complete album with a total runtime of approximately 46 minutes. The collection showcases the band’s ability to craft memorable pop-rock songs that stand on their own merit despite drawing from established alternative rock influences. Grab this used copy and own a piece of late-90s rock radio history.
