Eliminator is an action shooter released by Psygnosis for PlayStation. Set in a dystopian future where state enemies compete in televised combat for mass entertainment, the game blends traditional 2D shooter mechanics with a third-person perspective environment. You pilot one of four selectable ships through futuristic arenas, destroying turrets, enemy aircraft, and mechanical walkers while collecting weapon upgrades and time bonuses. Basic puzzles require tactical thinking, such as hitting targets in the correct sequence before hazards close in.
