Edges of Twilight is a 1995 alternative rock album by Canadian band The Tea Party, released on EMI. Drawing from diverse musical and cultural influences, the band crafts a sound that blends neo-progressive rock with Middle Eastern-inspired melodies and earthy textures. The album moves fluidly between hard rock intensity and atmospheric passages, incorporating piano ballads, blues elements, and sitar-driven meditations. Tracks like “Fire In The Head,” “The Bazaar,” and “Shadows On The Mountainside” showcase the band’s range and compositional depth, moving from acoustic instrumentals to heavier, more abrasive moments that demonstrate their versatility across multiple rock styles.

This CD contains ten tracks with a total runtime of approximately 47 minutes. The album showcases The Tea Party’s ability to balance FM rock sensibilities with artistic ambition, proving they possess considerably more depth than many of their contemporaries working in similar territory. Acquire this used copy and experience a standout release from the mid-90s alternative rock landscape.
