Antonín Dvořák composed his final three symphonies between 1885 and 1893, with the Ninth Symphony earning the subtitle “From The New World” for its incorporation of American musical themes. Conductor Carlo Maria Giulini leads these works alongside the Carnaval Overture and Scherzo Capriccioso, capturing the sweep and drama of Dvořák’s orchestral writing with considerable musicality.

This two-disc CD set was released in 1995 on Angel Records and includes the complete Symphonies No. 7 in D Minor, No. 8 in G Major, and No. 9 in E Minor, plus the Carnaval Overture (9:34) and Scherzo Capriccioso (14:01). Add this used copy to your classical collection at a fraction of retail cost.
