Drunken Master is a 1978 Hong Kong martial arts comedy directed by Woo-ping Yuen and starring Jackie Chan in a role that would define his career. Chan plays a rebellious young man whose father, a kung fu master, apprentices him to the unconventional So Hi to teach him discipline. So Hi employs a unique drunken fighting style in his training regimen, which the headstrong student initially resists. After being brutally defeated by a hired killer named Thunderleg, Chan’s character finally commits to mastering So Hi’s techniques, only to discover he will need every skill when Thunderleg is hired to eliminate his father.

This single-disc DVD release runs 91 minutes and carries a PG-13 rating from New World Pictures. The film emphasizes spectacular kung fu acrobatics and features an astounding final battle choreographed with precision by Yuen Woo-ping.
