Down The Road Wherever [Deluxe]

CD Details

Mark Knopfler released his ninth solo studio album in 2018, crafting a collection of unhurried, elegant rock songs drawn from varied inspirations. The record reflects on his formative years in Deptford during the Dire Straits era, follows a wandering football supporter through an unfamiliar town, and captures the journey of a musician traveling home through snow. Knopfler’s distinctive approach to songwriting reveals itself through precise, evocative details that blend his own cultural geography, complemented by his warm Geordie vocals and intricate, melodic guitar work.

Down The Road Wherever is a deluxe CD edition containing ten tracks, including “Trapper Man,” “Back On The Dance Floor,” “Nobody’s Child,” “Just A Boy Away From Home,” “When You Leave,” “Good On You Son,” “My Bacon Roll,” “Nobody Does That,” “Drovers’ Road,” and “One Song At A Time.” Add this rock album to your collection at a used price that won’t strain your wallet.
