Discover the World: Live In is a 2009 concert film featuring Pink Martini, an internationally acclaimed ensemble that blends rock and world music influences. Filmed at Portland’s historic Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, the performance takes audiences on a musical journey spanning Paris, Brazil, Tokyo, and beyond, infused with the elegance of classic Hollywood. The ensemble performs many of their most cherished songs alongside rare, previously unrecorded material, with special guest appearances by koto player Masumi Timson and the Lions of Batucada Brazilian marching band.

This single-disc DVD release presents the full-length concert in stereo sound, originally broadcast on PBS. Bonus features include a documentary featurette about Pink Martini’s history and an extensive slide show of Polaroids from bandleader Thomas Lauderdale. Own this vibrant live performance on physical media at a used price.
