Kate Bush’s 2011 album Director’s Cut revisits material from two of her earlier works, The Sensual World and The Red Shoes. Rather than simply reissuing these albums, Bush re-recorded select tracks, keeping the strongest instrumental performances while adding fresh lead vocals and drums. The result is a collection that showcases her artistic evolution, with contributions from musicians including Steve Gadd and Danny Thompson, plus backing vocals from Mica Paris. Three songs received complete re-recordings, among them “This Woman’s Work.”

This deluxe three-CD edition packages Director’s Cut alongside remastered versions of both The Sensual World and The Red Shoes, all contained in a case-bound book. Released by EMI, the set features tracks such as “Flower Of The Mountain,” “Song Of Solomon,” “Deeper Understanding,” and “Moments Of Pleasure.” You’ll own a substantial collection of Kate Bush’s work across multiple decades when you purchase this used copy from us.
