The Complete Truth About De-Evolution is a 1993 music video collection from New Wave pioneers Devo, featuring the band’s most iconic videos alongside concept pieces that challenged corporate culture through absurdist visual storytelling. Led by Mark Mothersbaugh and the rest of the band, these experimental art-rock videos showcase Devo’s understanding of the music video as a legitimate art form, including their radio hit “Whip It” and a corporate film parody titled “The Truth About De-Evolution.”

This single-disc DVD release from Rhino includes 17 music videos, band commentary, and live performance clips. A rarely seen video for “Mongolian” by experimental filmmaker Bruce Connor is also featured. Own this collection of fascinating videos on physical media at a fraction of what you’d pay for a new copy.
