Copper is a period drama that premiered on BBC America in 2012, set in 1860s New York City’s Five Points neighborhood. The series follows Kevin “Corky” Corcoran, a hardened Irish-American detective and Civil War veteran portrayed by Tom Weston-Jones, as he investigates murders and confronts systemic corruption in the rough immigrant ghetto. Alongside his police work, Corcoran struggles with the disappearance of his wife and child while navigating attention from both a local madam and a Fifth Avenue socialite. The cast includes Ato Essandoh, Kyle Schmid, and Wayne Curnew, with direction from Clark Johnson, Jeff Woolnough, and Larysa Kondracki.

This three-disc DVD set contains the complete first season with a runtime of seven hours and carries a TV-MA rating. The collection includes cast commentaries, deleted scenes, and making-of featurettes, along with a tour of present-day New York from executive producer Tom Fontana.
