Released in 1969, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes is a Disney comedy directed by Robert Butler and written by Joseph L. McEveety. The film stars Kurt Russell as a college student whose life changes dramatically after an electrical accident involving the campus computer. Following the shock, he discovers he can recall everything he reads with perfect clarity. When he learns that the computer contains records of criminal activity, he faces a difficult choice about how to use his extraordinary new ability. Cesar Romero and Joe Flynn round out the cast in this lighthearted science fiction romp.

This is a single-disc DVD presentation of the film in fullscreen format, running 91 minutes with a G rating from Buena Vista Distribution Company. A fun family-friendly adventure from the early days of computer-themed cinema, this used copy offers a chance to experience a piece of Disney’s vault without the new price tag.
