Combination Nation Vol 1 is a belly dance instruction DVD released in 2009 by Cheeky Girls, directed by Michelle Joyce. Featuring performers Bahaia, Shoshanna, Zafira, and other dancers from across North America, this instructional program presents signature movement combinations taught step-by-step. Each instructor breaks down her favorite sequences as if in a live workshop, then the dancers perform the combinations to music, giving you extended time to practice and master each routine.

This single-disc DVD runs two hours and comes extensively chaptered so you can skip ahead once you know the breakdowns and jump straight to the musical drills. Some combinations are choreographed to match specific songs to help develop your timing and musicality, while others work with various music styles. Owning this used copy lets you build your belly dance vocabulary at a fraction of the original retail cost.
