Movie / Show Details

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is a 2009 animated comedy from Sony Pictures directed by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord. Bill Hader voices Flint, a young inventor whose experimental machine transforms water into food, but a malfunction sends it skyward where it begins raining cheeseburgers and other meals onto the small island town of Swallow Falls. What starts as a disaster becomes an opportunity when the greedy Mayor (Bruce Campbell) sees potential for tourism, but as the food grows larger and more dangerous, Flint must find a way to shut down his creation before it destroys everything. Anna Faris, Andy Samberg, and James Caan round out the voice cast in this adventure-comedy based on the beloved children’s book by Judi and Ron Barrett.

This single-disc DVD edition runs 90 minutes and carries a PG rating. Released by Sony Pictures, it brings the colorful chaos of falling food to your home in standard definition. You can own this animated family favorite at a used price that won’t strain your budget.
