Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is a 2013 animated comedy sequel directed by Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn. Inventor Flint Lockwood, voiced by Bill Hader, finally earns recognition from his idol Chester V and joins his company to develop technologies for humanity. When Flint discovers his weather machine is still active on a remote island, it has begun creating bizarre hybrid creatures that combine animals and vegetables, from tacodiles to shrimpanzees. Flint reunites with his friends, including Sam Sparks (Anna Faris) and other allies, to stop these dangerous food mutants before they threaten the world.
