Classics 2001 is a two-disc classical compilation released in 2001 on the Decca label, featuring some of the world’s most celebrated opera singers, instrumentalists, and composers. The collection brings together performances by Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Renée Fleming, The Three Tenors, Sarah Brightman, Placido Domingo, and many others, alongside orchestral works and film scores. Spanning beloved operatic arias, violin concertos, piano pieces, and iconic themes from cinema, this album showcases the breadth of classical music and crossover appeal.

This double CD set contains 38 tracks across two discs, including famous selections like Puccini’s “Nessun Dorma,” Handel’s “Ombra Mai Fu,” Barber’s “Adagio,” and the “Star Wars” main theme. Performances range from intimate vocal pieces to grand orchestral arrangements, conducted by maestros including Herbert von Karajan and Leonard Bernstein. A used copy from us offers you a chance to own this comprehensive classical collection at a fraction of retail cost.
