Circus is a 1995 rock album from Virgin Records featuring Lenny Kravitz alongside Craig Ross and Henry Hirsch. The record blends pop rock and soft rock styles, opening with “Rock and Roll Is Dead,” a critique of rock and roll excess, before moving through tracks that range from melodic power-pop energy on “Magdalene” to country-tinged mid-tempo grooves like “Can’t Get You Off My Mind.” Songs such as “Beyond The 7th Sky,” “God Is Love,” and “Don’t Go and Put a Bullet in Your Head” showcase Kravitz’s approach to classic rock songwriting across the album’s ten tracks.

This CD pressing on Virgin Records contains the complete album with a total runtime of approximately 44 minutes. The track listing includes “Rock And Roll Is Dead,” “Circus,” “Beyond The 7th Sky,” “Tunnel Vision,” “Can’t Get You Off My Mind,” “Magdalene,” “God Is Love,” “Thin Ice,” “Don’t Go and Put a Bullet in Your Head,” and “In My Life Today.” Grab this used copy and own a piece of mid-90s rock on physical media.
