Christy Lane’s Square Dancing Today, Vol. 1 is an instructional square dancing CD released in 2001 by Let’s DO It Productions. This first volume in the series blends traditional fiddling with modern high-energy sounds, offering music at tempos suited for square dancing. The collection features five songs total: two traditional pieces and three contemporary tracks. Each song appears twice on the disc, once with a professional caller guiding dancers through the moves and once as an instrumental version for those wanting to call the steps themselves.

This CD contains ten complete tracks and is designed for dancers ages eight through adult. You get both the vocal versions with cues and the instrumental versions without lyrics, making it useful for learning or practicing. Add this used instructional disc to your collection at a fraction of the original retail price.
