Christmas Story Lady -Grace McQueen Jessica Tandy has a gift for storytelling that brings a troubled family together during Christmastime and envelops them in a world of imagination. Beyond Tomorrow-Three wealthy older gentlemen, finding themselves alone on Christmas Eve due to their work committed lifestyles, invited two strangers to dine with them. The young couple, never having met before, begins to fall in love over the course of the evening, when the gentlemen must leave for a flight. Unfortunately the plane crashes and the three gentlemen come back as ghosts to their mansion. They discover the young couple’s love is suffering because of the man’s ambitions, so they decide to give their young friends a hand in saving their relationship.
Scrooge-This screen adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic was co-written by star Seymour Hicks, who portrayed lead character Ebenezer Scrooge. Scrooge, a miserly gentleman cares more for his money than anything else in the world. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the spirit of his former partner Jacob Marley, who warns him that he will suffer a similar fate as his of eternal damnation if he doesn t change his ways. Subsequent visits to Scrooge by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future show Scrooge the follies of his ways and sets him on the right path.
A Star Shall Rise-Raymond Burr and other well-known actors are featured in this story of the Three Wise Men, their discussion, and eventual journey to Bethlehem to see the Newborn King.
