Chestnut: Hero of Central Park is a 2008 family comedy directed by Robert Vince and starring Abigail Breslin, Barry Bostwick, and Christine Tucci. Two orphaned sisters, Sal and Rae, experience a life-changing day when they both adopt an adorable puppy and learn they’ve been adopted into a wealthy Manhattan family. Upon arriving at their new home, the girls face an unexpected obstacle: their building enforces a strict no-dogs policy. The sisters must get creative to keep their new pet hidden while adjusting to city life and building their dream family.

This is a single-disc DVD release from Paramount with a runtime of 83 minutes, rated for family audiences. From the producers of the Air Bud and Most Valuable Primate series, this heartwarming story combines comedy with the challenges of pet ownership in an urban setting. Grab this used copy and enjoy a feel-good film that the whole family can watch together.
