Cheryl Bear’s self-titled debut is a contemporary Christian worship album from a Native American artist and spiritual leader. Released while Bear was pastoring the Street Church in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside neighborhood alongside her husband Randy, the album emerged from her experiences serving in one of Canada’s most economically challenged communities with a significant First Nations population. Created during her studies at Regent College, the record blends worship music with indigenous perspectives and traditions.

This CD features tracks including “Drum Doxology,” which incorporates a traditional hymn reimagined through an indigenous lens and draws from Bear’s time studying theology. The album represents a personal healing journey rooted in the real stories and spiritual needs of the Street Church community. Own this used CD and support independent Christian music.
