Chain Reaction is a 1996 science fiction thriller directed by Andrew Davis and starring Keanu Reeves, Morgan Freeman, and Rachel Weisz. The film follows Eddie Kasalivich, a talented student machinist at the University of Chicago who becomes entangled in a dangerous conspiracy after his research team achieves a major breakthrough in fusion energy technology. When a private company seeks to steal and exploit the discovery, Eddie and physicist Dr. Lily Sinclair are framed for murder. Now hunted by the FBI, the two must evade capture while working to recover the stolen fusion device and clear their names.
