Blaqk Audio is the electronic side project of AFI members Davey Havok and Jade Puget, who crafted CexCells in 2007 between tours supporting AFI’s album Decemberunderground. Mixed by Dave Bascombe, known for his work with Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, and Placebo, the album explores dark electronic textures that had been growing in AFI’s sound. The tracks range from synth-driven pieces inspired by early Depeche Mode and Ministry to club-oriented dance cuts and intimate electronic ballads, all unified by Havok’s distinctive vocal presence and Puget’s layered keyboard arrangements.

This single-disc CD was released on Interscope and features ten tracks including “Stiff Kittens,” “Between Breaths (An XX Perspective),” “Snuff On Digital,” “Bitter For Sweet,” “Where Would You Like Them Left?,” “The Fear Of Being Found,” “On A Friday,” “The Love Letter,” and “Semiotic Love.” Picking up a used copy from us means owning this electronic gem at a fraction of retail cost.
