Celtic Thunder: Storm is a 2011 concert film showcasing the Irish musical ensemble Celtic Thunder performing a full hour of traditional and contemporary songs. Directed by Michael Watt and produced by Sharon Browne and Phil Coulter, the performance weaves together Irish cultural themes with dramatic staging that contrasts light and darkness, youth and experience. The production features an expansive 130-by-40-foot set complete with live trees, gypsy caravans, settler dwellings, and a river, creating a theatrical backdrop for performances including “Storm Overture,” “Harry’s Game,” “The Highwayman,” “Stand And Deliver,” “Look At Me,” and an a cappella rendition of “Lagan Love.”

This single-disc DVD presents the unrated concert in high definition, captured with 15 cameras during filming at the Toronto International Centre Hall 5 in Ontario. The 60-minute runtime showcases the group’s energetic ensemble numbers and intimate solo moments with exceptional production quality. Own this vibrant performance on physical media at a used price.
