Celestial Christmas 2: A Special Collection of Seasonal Melodies, Arranged in the Baroque Style

CD Details

Celestial Christmas 2 is a holiday CD from Celestial Harmonies featuring seasonal favorites arranged in Baroque style. Performed by I Solisti Di Duino under conductor Antonio Pellegrino, this collection spans carols from the thirteenth through nineteenth centuries, reimagined with the ornate orchestral textures and instrumental counterpoint characteristic of Bach and Vivaldi. The album includes beloved standards like Silent Night, Little Drummer Boy, and O Tannenbaum alongside lesser-known works such as the seventeenth-century Czechoslovakian carol Kommet Ihr Hirten and the anonymous Sicilian shanty O du Frohliche, exploring themes of wonder, compassion, and joy.

This CD offers rich arrangements that transform traditional holiday melodies into an elegant festive suite. Add this used copy to your seasonal collection at a fraction of retail cost.
