Catching a Tiger is the 2010 debut album from American singer-songwriter Lissie. After relocating from Rhode Island to Los Angeles in 2006, she became involved in the local music scene and recorded an EP with Bill Reynolds of Band of Horses that gained attention. For her full-length debut, Lissie worked with producer Jacquire King in Nashville, resulting in twelve tracks that blend bluesy-folk sensibilities with pop accessibility while highlighting her distinctive voice and songwriting abilities.
This CD was released by Sony and contains songs including “Record Collector,” “When I’m Alone,” “In Sleep,” “Bully,” “Little Lovin’,” “Stranger,” “Loosen The Knot,” “Cuckoo,” “Everywhere I Go,” “Worried About,” and “Look Away.” Grab this used copy and own a piece of Lissie’s early work at a fraction of retail cost.
