Buena Vista Social Club Presents Ibrahim Ferrer

CD Details

Ibrahim Ferrer’s solo debut brings together the spirit of traditional Cuban music with a diverse range of styles, from lush 1950s big band arrangements to intimate ballads and the country-tinged son that made the Buena Vista Social Club project an international phenomenon. The ensemble is rounded out by the female vocal group Gema 4, guitarist Manuel Galban, and saxophonist Gil Bernard, creating a rich tapestry of Cuban musical traditions.
