Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius is a 2004 biographical drama directed by Rowdy Herrington that chronicles the life of golf legend Bobby Jones. Jim Caviezel portrays Jones, a champion golfer who achieved the sport’s Grand Slam by winning four major tournaments in less than four months in 1930, then retired from competition at age 28 due to physical and emotional struggles. The film explores Jones’s rise to dominance on the golf course while depicting his battles with chronic pain, health issues, and personal turmoil. Jeremy Northam plays Jones’s friend and rival Walter Hagen, Malcolm McDowell appears as Jones’s biographer O.B. Keeler, and Claire Forlani takes on the role of Jones’s wife.

This is a single-disc DVD release from Film Foundry Releasing with a runtime of two hours and a PG rating. The film presents a reverent, somber portrait of one of golf’s greatest champions, blending sports drama with intimate character study. Owning this used copy lets you experience a piece of golf history at a fraction of retail cost.
