Blown Away is a 1994 action thriller directed by Stephen Hopkins. Jeff Bridges stars as a Boston bomb-squad officer who finds himself targeted by a vengeful Irish bomber, played by Tommy Lee Jones, who harbors a grudge from their shared past in the Irish Republican Army. As the bomber carries out a destructive campaign, Bridges’s character must confront both the physical danger and the personal history that connects them. Suzy Amis appears as his girlfriend, who becomes caught in the crossfire of this deadly conflict.
