Blood Heat is a 2002 Japanese action thriller directed by Ten Shimoyama and set in a futuristic Tokyo of 2009. Kane Kosugi stars as Joe, a US Navy Seal who teams up with a Japanese detective to combat a dangerous new drug flooding the streets. The narcotic, also called Blood Heat, is a designer steroid that grants users superhuman strength but comes with a devastating side effect: it triggers violent rage and homicidal impulses. The investigation leads them into the shadowy world of an underground martial arts fight club operated by the Yakuza, where fighters are chemically enhanced with the drug and transformed into lethal, uncontrollable combat machines.

This single-disc DVD features the complete film with a runtime of 92 minutes and carries an unrated rating. The movie was produced by Dentsu Productions Ltd. and showcases a cast including Masaya Kato and Sho Aikawa alongside Kosugi. A used copy gives you this action-packed thriller at a fraction of retail cost.
