Bleach (Deluxe)

CD Details

Nirvana’s debut album Bleach arrived in June 1989, recorded with producer Jack Endino at Reciprocal Recording Studios in Seattle during late 1988 and early 1989. The raw, guitar-driven rock record features Kurt Cobain’s distinctive vocals across tracks like “About A Girl,” “School,” “Love Buzz,” and “Negative Creep.” Though it initially had modest sales, Bleach gained massive international recognition following the 1991 release of Nevermind, eventually selling 1.7 million copies in the US and establishing Sub Pop’s most significant early signing.

This 2009 deluxe edition is a digitally remastered CD that expands the original album with 12 previously unreleased live bonus tracks from a complete February 9, 1990 performance at the Pine Street Theatre in Portland, Oregon. The package includes a 52-page booklet featuring rare, previously unpublished photographs of the band. Own this 20th anniversary edition of a foundational grunge record at a used price that won’t strain your wallet.
