Blast from the Past is a 1999 romantic comedy directed by Hugh Wilson and starring Brendan Fraser and Alicia Silverstone. After spending 35 years isolated in a bomb shelter built during the 1950s, Adam emerges into modern-day Los Angeles for the first time, armed with an earnest desire to find supplies and a wife. His innocent, wide-eyed approach to the contemporary world leads him to Eve, a cynical and street-smart woman worn down by failed relationships and dead-end jobs. As Adam navigates the strange new landscape with childlike wonder and genuine sweetness, Eve finds herself unexpectedly drawn to him, and their unlikely connection sparks a romantic chain reaction.

New Line Cinema released this PG-13 film on a single DVD with a runtime of 1 hour and 52 minutes. The cast also includes Christopher Walken, Sissy Spacek, and Dave Foley. This repackaged edition offers a chance to own this charming romantic comedy without the full retail cost.
