Ronnie Drew was an Irish folk legend who founded the Dubliners in 1962 alongside Luke Kelly, Barney McKenna, and Ciaran Bourke, with John Sheahan joining to complete the classic lineup. The group became one of the most celebrated Irish folk ensembles of all time, bringing traditional songs to audiences worldwide. After 1995, Drew embarked on a solo career and collaborated with numerous artists including Christy Moore, the Pogues, and Dropkick Murphys before his death in 2008.

This 2007 collection gathers his most beloved recordings across two discs, featuring standout tracks like “Seven Drunken Nights,” “The Rare Auld Times,” “Finnegan’s Wake,” and “The Auld Triangle.” The compilation showcases Drew’s distinctive voice and his deep connection to Irish folk tradition. Grab this used CD and experience the music of a true folk icon.
