Barbie and her sisters head to the Swiss Alps for a summer at a riding academy in this 2013 animated film from Mattel. Written by Cydne Clark and Steve Granat, the story follows each sister as she pursues her own dreams: Barbie hopes to find a special horse to take home to Malibu, Stacie wants to prove herself as an equestrian, Chelsea dreams of riding the largest horses, and Skipper prefers documenting the scenery to experiencing it firsthand. When Barbie encounters a mysterious wild horse in the woods, the sisters’ vacation takes an unexpected magical turn.
