As Time Goes By is a British romantic comedy series from the BBC following two former lovers who reconnect decades after a lost letter separated them. Jean and Lionel, portrayed by Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer, have settled into married life, yet continue to navigate relationships and daily adventures with wit and charm. Their interactions with younger characters around them, including Jean’s daughter Judy and Lionel’s publisher Alistair, provide both humor and heart as the show explores themes of love and companionship in later years.

This collection contains the eighth and ninth seasons on two DVDs, totaling five hours and forty-six minutes of programming with a TV-PG rating. Series eight consists of six episodes featuring everyday storylines that showcase the dynamic between the lead characters, while the four-episode ninth and final season brings the narrative to a satisfying conclusion with proposals and weddings crafted by series writer Bob Larbey. Own these later seasons of a beloved British comedy at a fraction of retail cost.
