Alien: Resurrection is a 1997 science fiction horror film directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Set two centuries after Ripley’s death, the story follows scientists who clone the legendary warrior along with the alien queen that gestated inside her, intending to create the perfect biological weapon. The cloning process fuses alien DNA with Ripley’s human genetics, resulting in a new version of the character with unexpected abilities and unpredictable behavior. When a group of smugglers accidentally boards the space colony, the imprisoned aliens escape, forcing Ripley to join forces with the smugglers, including a mechanic named Call, to prevent the creatures from reaching Earth.
