Alice’s Odyssey is a 2002 Canadian comedy-fantasy film directed by Denise Filiatrault and written by Pierre Poirier and Sylvie Lussier. The story follows Alice Tremblay, a single mother who finds herself drawn into a dreamlike adventure through reimagined versions of classic fairy tales. As she revisits the stories she reads to her daughter, she encounters a parade of unconventional characters: a lusty Little Red Riding Hood and an equally forward wolf, an awkward Prince Charming obsessed with seduction, a scatterbrained fairy godmother and her dark counterpart, an aging Snow White with numerous romantic interests, a lovestruck Santa Claus, and a macho king married to a feminist queen, among many others.

This is a single-disc DVD release in widescreen format with a runtime of one hour and forty-one minutes, rated 5.4 on IMDb. The cast includes Marc Labrèche, Martin Drainville, Mitsou, Pierrette Robitaille, and Sophie Lorain. Grab this used copy and enjoy a quirky take on beloved tales at a fraction of retail cost.
