A&E’s Apostles Collection is a documentary series from 2000 examining the lives and missions of Jesus’s apostles. The set includes two programs: The Story of the Twelve Apostles, which explores the twelve disciples chosen by Christ to spread his teachings, and The Story of Paul the Apostle, which follows the devout Jew who persecuted Christians before his conversion. Both documentaries feature historical context, dramatized reenactments of significant events, and interviews with biblical scholars and university professors. Martin Sheen provides the narration throughout, while the programs thoughtfully address how to distinguish historical fact from religious myth and discuss the formation of the biblical canon.

This is a two-disc, unrated DVD set with a total runtime of two hours and fifty minutes, released by A&E Video. The collection offers a scholarly yet accessible approach to understanding these influential figures whose impact shaped world history. Own this used copy and keep the physical media.
