Across the Hall is a 2009 thriller directed by Alex Merkin, who expanded the story from a 2005 short film alongside screenwriter Jesse Mittelstadt. Danny Pino stars as Terry, a jealous man convinced his girlfriend June (Brittany Murphy) is unfaithful. Desperate for answers, he follows her to a secluded hotel and books the room across the hall, where he keeps watch while armed and dangerous. When he confides in his best friend Julian (Mike Vogel), the confession triggers a cascade of unexpected twists and revelations that transform a night of paranoia into something far more sinister.

This single-disc DVD release runs 93 minutes and carries an R rating from Dalton Pictures. Merkin’s direction maintains noirish tension throughout, balancing stylish presentation with genuine suspense as the narrative shifts across time and perspective. The cast also includes Arie Verveen, Brad Greenquist, Chase Kim, and Dov Davidoff.
