A Turtle’s Tale: Sammy’s Adventures is a 2010 animated film directed by Ben Stassen that follows Sammy, a sea turtle hatched on a Baja California beach in 1959. After racing across the sand to escape predators, Sammy begins an extraordinary fifty-year journey across the world’s oceans. Along the way, he forms a deep friendship with Ray, another turtle, while harboring a lifelong love for Shelly, a turtle he rescued on his very first day. Sammy’s voyage takes him through both natural challenges and human-caused dangers as he pursues his dream of circumnavigating the globe, all while the film weaves in an important message about the threats humans pose to sea turtle survival.

This Blu-ray release features the film on a single disc with voice work from Anthony Anderson, Ed Begley Jr., Isabelle Fuhrman, Ashley Renee, Darla Crane, and Dyanna Lauren. Own this hand-inspected copy of the animated adventure and experience Sammy’s epic tale of friendship and perseverance.
