Russell Crowe stars in this 2006 romantic comedy-drama directed by Ridley Scott about Max Skinner, a driven London investment banker whose life revolves entirely around work. When his estranged uncle passes away, Max inherits a vineyard in Provence, France, where he spent time as a child. Initially viewing the property as a quick sale to profit from, Max travels to the estate and finds himself drawn into the slower pace of life in rural France. There he reconnects with his past and meets a woman who claims to be his cousin, leading him to reconsider what truly matters in life.
