Captured live at the 2005 Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival National Finals, this recording showcases the championship competition in its 21st year. Eight regional winners from across the United States performed for the title: Undivided from Los Angeles, Face from Denver, Firedrill from Boston, Traces from New York, Moodswing from San Francisco, Fiveplay from Chicago, Cartoon Johnny from Washington DC, and Pacific Northwest’s Groove for Thought, who took home the 2005 championship. Host group Chapter 6, winners from the previous year, also appears on the album, bringing their polished, swinging pop style to the collegiate a cappella circuit.

This CD is a live recording of the festival’s national finals competition. The lineup that year was notably consistent in quality, making for an excellent showcase of a cappella talent. Grab this used copy and experience the energy of one of the country’s premier vocal group competitions.
