Pharis and Jason Romero released this folk album in 2015, drawing from both original compositions and traditional material. Recorded in their home workshop in Horsefly, British Columbia, the pair blend Appalachian and contemporary folk traditions with the same meticulous attention they bring to their banjo-building craft. Tracks include “A Wanderer I’ll Stay,” “Ballad Of Old Bill,” “Goodbye Old Paint,” and “Poor Boy,” among others, showcasing music built with care and precision.

This is a single CD on the Lula Records label, featuring nine tracks across roughly 35 minutes of playing time. The album represents the work of musicians who approach their songs with the same dedication they apply to their instruments, creating folk music that feels both natural and expertly crafted. Own this hand-inspected disc and experience the result of genuine artistry.
