The Hills Have Eyes 2 is a 2007 horror thriller directed by Martin Weisz and written by Jonathan Craven and Wes Craven. The film follows a National Guard unit on a routine desert mission in New Mexico who stumble upon an abandoned research outpost. When the soldiers spot a distress signal in the nearby mountains, they launch a search and rescue operation, unaware they are entering the same badlands where the Carter family met their doom. There, a tribe of cannibalistic mutants awaits, and a larger sinister force is determined to destroy the entire unit.
