CD Details
Strumming My Ukulele is a collection of Hawaiian and island-inspired contemporary music from Troy Fernandez, a ukulele player and vocalist from Palolo whose work has influenced generations of musicians in Hawaii. Released on Neos Productions, this album celebrates Fernandez’s deep connection to island culture and his family through his distinctive bright ukulele style and warm voice. A three-time Na Hoku Hanohano award recipient, Fernandez built his reputation both as a member of the Ka’au Crater Boys alongside Ernie Cruz, Jr., and as a solo artist whose contributions have kept ukulele music vibrant in Hawaiian music circles.
This is a standard CD release featuring Fernandez’s folk and world music arrangements. Pick up a used copy from us and own a piece of island music history at a fraction of retail cost.
