Slack Key Guitar Volume 2 is a 2003 compilation featuring various Hawaiian and Pacific acoustic artists performing ki ho’alu, the distinctive slack key guitar style rooted in Hawaii’s musical traditions. Recorded in the heart of Paniolo country where this art form originated, the album showcases ten accomplished slack key musicians, each bringing their own tuning and approach to the instrument. The collection spans both traditional and contemporary interpretations, demonstrating how the slack key guitar style has evolved over time.

Released on CD by Palm Records and Lava Tracks Recording Studio, this single-disc compilation runs approximately 41 minutes and includes tracks such as Punahele, Nai’o, Kahealani, Anuhea’s Song, and Keiki Slack Key. A used copy from us gives you access to this acclaimed collection at a fraction of retail cost.
