Livin It Up is a 2014 blues album featuring the collaboration between Andy T and James “Nick” Nixon. Andy T, a Southern California native who moved to Nashville in 2008, brings a guitar style rooted in the traditions of T-Bone Walker, B.B. King, Magic Sam, and Albert Collins. Nick Nixon, born and raised in Nashville, was a Chess Records artist in the 1970s and remains a central figure in the city’s blues revival. Together, their dynamic performances blend Nick’s rich vocals with Andy’s vibrant, soulful guitar work.

Released on CD through Audio Dallas Recording Studio and Delta Groove Music, Inc., this single-disc recording captures the authentic chemistry between these two musicians. Fans of traditional blues guitar and vocal interplay will find this a worthy addition to their collection, and you can own a used copy at a fraction of retail cost.
