Blisterstring is a 1996 Chicago blues album from Delmark Records featuring guitarists Jimmy Dawkins and Jimmy Johnson alongside harmonica player Sonny Thompson. The recording captures the raw energy of their club performances, blending modern electric blues with traditional roots influences across ten tracks including “Feel So Bad,” “Blue Monday,” and “Chitlins Con Carne.”
This CD contains approximately 60 minutes of music and includes four previously unreleased tracks. You’re getting authentic Chicago blues from three seasoned musicians on a single disc, and as a used copy from us, it costs considerably less than a new one.
